GymDoe is a fitness platform for people who actually track their training. It logs sets, reps, weight and rest, turns that history into personal records and long-term progress, and wraps the whole thing in a social feed where lifters follow athletes and share sessions.
I built both halves. The client is native SwiftUI with dedicated Apple Watch and home-screen widget targets, so a workout can be driven from the wrist without opening the phone. The API is TypeScript on Express with Prisma over PostgreSQL, handling auth through Clerk, media through S3, creator payouts through Stripe, and AI-generated training plans through the OpenAI API.
It shipped to the App Store in June 2026 under Yousey Technologies LLC and has grown past 200 users.
